"OBJEKTIV 2019" Press Photo Award

I’m so proud to share the great news that I was nominated for OBJEKTIV 2019 , the Austrian press photo award in the category “Fotoserien” (the supreme discipline of telling a story in a series of pictures). Unfortunately I didn’t win but being nominated was already more than I expected!

The story nominated was about a school for kids with special needs and the discourse of having specialized institutions versus the idea of inclusion, which is integrating these kids in regular school classes. The article was published in DATUM magazine back in 2018 and this assignment was one of the most intense jobs I ever did. I still feel so grateful having met all these wonderful pupils, teachers and supporters at Karl Schubert Schule.
